Admissions Policy
Parents will be introduced to our group at a pre-arranged visit lasting around one and a half hours. This is an opportunity for us to hear all about your child, and for you to learn all about life at Kingfisher. You can observe children in the group in a normal working situation.
On receipt of a completed registration form and registration fee, your child will be placed on a registration list. Admission to the school will be in order of the date of registration.
Children already attending the school and their siblings will have priority over those on the waiting list. Should an extra session be requested, written notice is needed half a term before such a place is required. Parents will be periodically reminded of this.
If we are unable to accommodate a child on the registration list the registration fee will be refunded. Half a term’s notice will be given to parents in such cases. We will not refund the registration fee if parents no longer require a place for their child.
Parents entitled to Nursery Education Funding will only be invoiced for additional services such as music, French, lunches; the school will handle all the required paperwork.
An invoice will be sent before the start of the term in which the child will be joining us. This is payable by the first day of the term and is subject to 2.5% interest monthly for late payment.
